The fact that Clement Rosenthal came from a family of artists had an undeniable influence on his career and explains his early interest in artistic. His youth years from 1973 to 1978 were devoted to the study of painting and drawing. He regularly attends the free workshops of the art academies of Paris where he learns academic drawing from living models. (…)

At the same time, he also attended the workshop of a close friend, an experienced painter, who taught him the basics of different pictorial techniques. Starting in 1979, he paints his first personal works in which he tried to reconcile classical and abstract painting, Western and Asian art. (…)

From 1983 onwards, he worked with various gallery owners and professionals from the artistic world in France and abroad. Some of his works are acquired by the Center of Contemporary Art Georges Pompidou, the FRAC Ile de France, the FRAC Rhône Alpes, as well as by private foundations.
